For the longest time I have put off starting this blog. But today I said "no more!" I have so much to share with you all so why deprive you any longer, right? I'm a lover of all things BEAUTY and completely obsessed with makeup (it is really quite sickening now that I have just admitted it...oh well). I believe that everyone can find greater self-beauty in self-improvement, self-confidence, and happiness. As a child I would always get in trouble for playing in my mom's makeup. In later years whenener we would have "girl talk", my mom would tell me that "no woman was too pretty not to wear makeup." I think hearing that began my obsession with beauty.
In today's society being plus size often tends to bring negative connotation to the concept of beauty. To this I do believe Marilyn Monroe said it best: "Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." I love all my imperfections because they make me, ME! They bring me attention that I accept proudly. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. God gave me a little more than others to work with which is absolutely beautiful.
